Tracey has been involved with computers since 1982, but because it was
never discussed as a possible career option when she was in school, she
never imagined she would ever have a career in the IT field. In 1991,
she took her first real computer course, mostly out of curiosity, and
ended up being hired by the instructor to do some programming for a client.
She was hooked!
She went back to school to learn the necessary skills to work in the
industry and soon discovered the Wonderful World of IT. She graduated
in 1998 as a Business Application Developer and worked at SHL SystemHouse
and then Cyberplex. At present, she works as a Programmer/Analyst for
a local consulting firm. She has found her niche - she loves what she
does and looks forward to each new day.
She is a founding member of DigitalEve Nova Scotia. And have been the
Executive Director of DigitalEve Nova Scotia for 4 years.
